Modern Teaching Update

Happy Monday!  After much reflection, I have been slowly changing the focus of A Modern Teacher. I love the way blogs evolve.  Don't you?  I am learning great blogs have a real voice and share real content.  It's interesting because blogging really helps me discover who I am and what I am passionate about (I know that sounds so hokey).  Well, this blog is evolving into a place teachers and even parents can come and get ideas on DIY Projects and Craftivities.  It seems it is my favorite to post about.  I love crafts and organizing crap tools.  And I want to share that passion with you.  Not only will this place be for new teachers but really... for all teachers.

So in the next few weeks you will see some changes to the blog: a few tweaks here and there, new/fresh/fun content, some sponsors/affialiates (woa-I am getting a sponsor?), and the amount of posts I write might not be many but I hope they'll be 'meaty'.

I really do hope you sit back and stay for awhile.  Thank you for taking a chance so far.  I know all of our time is so precious.  Stay tuned this week for a little DIY and another Classroom Crasher! Have a great week!

And here is a picture of the biggest students in my life: MY KIDS!

  1. You are so sweet and def. not hokey!! Holy cow - I have not used or heard that word since high school & it was def. part of the surfer lingo! I grew up by the beach in California and spent most of my time surfing or sun bathing... reading that word brought back some good memories!!

I look forward to everything you are planning & reading your posts (when I can keep up ...hehehe).

Oh my goodness! Cali...surfing...I wanna go! Yes, it does sound a bit on the corny side but it's true :). And you'll find that's just me :) But how lucky are you to have grown up by the beach??!! One day...little beachhouse for me. My dream.
