DIY Reading Tools

K.I.S.S.  also known as 'keep it simple stupid'.  You knew that---right? For me, that is the only way I will do a project.  I just don't have the time...between the kids, hubby, extended family, and everything else in our life...it has to be simple.  period.  And most teachers and moms I know want to do the same thing.  We might make things creative and add those special touches but we really want it to be simple. (of course, nothing worth having is ever easy-right? go figure :)

Last week I shared some DIY projects for Math Manipulatives. I loved getting feedback from y'all.  It is nice to know people are reading :)  So, this week I thought I would share some DIY projects for Reading Tools.  Just some ideas you might want to make this summer.

  2. I stumbled on your blog through the FB party tonight. I love the ideas you have compiled here! In packing up and moving this year I came across a box of old snap cubes (...like an excessive amount of snap cubes...) so I think I will try the LEGO suggestion from above. Maybe for word work or sight words? I am a new blogger and would love if you would stop by my blog as well!
