Today I am suuuuuper excited to be sharing with you some fun.....fun.....fun printables. The first week of school is Cr-a-Zy. We all know that. *but* I think it is important to document it. I mean, there are some kids who don't have anyone to take their picture the first day of school. So, sometime during the first week of school, how 'bout some fun with the kids and take their pictures? You could turn this into a bulletin board or a class book. Now, I've seen some around pinterest but none for a teacher. So, here is my teacher version with a 'welcome' and the year. Just put in a frame and you're done. I couldn't decide on which design to share so I am sharing ALL 3! Ha! (I hate making decisions :)
This is something that is free and will always be free. Yay! Please share.. and pin :)
A BIG THANK YOU to Mary from Sharing Kindergarten for putting this Hop together!
Oh and the printables are offered for PreK-5th grade.
Scroll all the way to the bottom to get yours for free (I know...so mean) and to see where to go to next (and in case you missed one--those are listed too!).
TWO more things... First, have you checked out my new project? Classroom Celebrations is a new site I created to share TONS of ideas and products on celebrations in the classroom....beyond the 3 parties a year. This will bring ideas for all celebrations...celebrations of learning, students, friends, and family. Please check it out (right now you can grab a FREEBIE-for Meet the Teacher Night). Leave a comment if you feel so inclined and pinning would be great. Just don't laugh too hard. Right now, it is a huge work in progress and a lot needs to happen so hang tight!
Last thing, have you entered the Teacher Style Giveaway? The giveaway consists of over $150.00 worth of goodies to help you get ready for school. Enter today because TODAY is the last day to enter.

Thanks so much for this freebie!!! I'm wondering how you feel about making ones that say the same, but with Class of ______. That's usually what our welcome to our room signs say. It's a little crazy to think that far ahead, but we are trying to prepare our little guys for graduation. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for thinking about it! If you have time, head over to our new blog and let me know what you think!

DeleteThanks for leaving a comment and I'll check out your new blog. April
Thank you! Most of my students (and parents) will love to get a picture of themselves on the first day of school! Many of them don't purchase any of the school photos either, so this is a little something I can do for them! I'm also going to share with other teachers, so we can have all grades covered!

Hi
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for creating and sharing - for free. I will be following you and stopping by your blog for sure. Appreciate the opportunity to learn from/with you.
I have a huge favor to ask- would it be possible to get a sign that says welcome middle school or even a blank template? Not sure if that's possible but would be great if it was.
Thanks
Aroma
Great idea! I would love to do this but I am pressed for time right now. I wish there was another one of me :) I really appreciate the comment though. It means a lot!!
