Classroom Crashers :: Florida: 2nd Grade!

Crash time!  Today we get to take a sneak peak into a 2nd grade classroom from Florida.  It is Miss Nelson's Room!  Miss Nelson has a fun blog Run! Miss Nelson's Got the Camera (fun, fun, fun name)

First up, I love how she covered her cabinets in contact paper.

The poms are super cute to go along with her bee theme!

How do you set up your library?  I always had a library corner but I know many teachers have books spread around the room.  The thought is that books should not be limited to a corner.  They should be by the computers, by the wall... children should feel they are surrounded by books.  I really can see that point.  What do you think?  Here Miss Nelson has the books by the computers.  Love it!
