Today I am sharing with you one of my products that is great for a kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and possibly third grade classroom. It is free for the next 24 hours!
If you were to use something like this in kinder, I would have them draw pictures.
Gradually, with each grade level, I would add sentences to go with the pictures. Detailed sentences...you know what to do :)
One more tip: I normally would copy this and then have students glue this in their reading journal/notebooks. I would also discuss with the students the word 'snapshots' and what that means. In third grade, I would use this as more of a detailed summary exercise.
