Happy Labor Day! Are you laboring away like me? Yup, slaving away :) I have a few things to share with you today!
First up: I am a blogger who needs a schedule. Period. Sometimes I wish I could fly by the seat of my pants but I can't. After time and time trying....I have to schedule things because honestly, I'll forget what I'm suppose to do. Bad memory. Boo.
So here is my FALL schedule for A Modern Teacher. I am soooo excited about this year. It really feels like--January 1. So, HAPPY SCHOOL YEAR! :)
So to start it off with..a little tip on organization:
Find a writing utensil that makes you happy.
I know what you're thinking...a pen that makes me happy?? I can really hear you asking me in a high pitch voice. (you're a teacher, you know this already :)
No really, you gotta write anyway, so why not write with something that makes you happy. Whether it is a pen, pencil, thin marker, or sharpie. It helps us want to stay organized. I know it sounds crazy but try it!
One of the fun things I get to do as a blogger is try new products and that includes office supplies. These past 2 weeks I have tried a new lines of pens from Zebra Pens. One is called the Zebra Z-Mulsion EX Ballpoint Pen and the other is called the Zebra F-301 RetractableBallpoint Pen
The look and feel of the pens were great. One has a grip pad and was comfortable to write with. Of the 2 pens though, I liked the Zebra Retractable Pen. It just wrote better. There were some inconsistencies in the ZMulsion. As I wrote, some lines were thicker than others.
However, they did send my quite a few pens. I would say that my favorite everyday pen would have to be the ZGrip Max. My husband said his would have to be the gel pen :) That for me would be for fancier writing. They have all kinds of pens: metallic pens, twilight pens, candy pens...too fun! Maybe they will send more and I'll have a giveaway. See some pictures below. Head on over to Shoplet for a ton of office supplies!
So, are you a pen snob?
See you on Wednesday or tomorrow over at Classroom Celebrations!!

I feel ya on the favorite pen!
ReplyDeleteHow do you get involved with reviewing items??
Ashley @ Fierce in Fourth
Hi Ashley! This particular company contacted me however, sometimes if there is something you like, just send them an email and sometimes you never know...tell them that you are interested in reviewing a product of theirs...ask about something in particular and maybe they will respond. That is actually how I got my Silouette Cameo. Blogging with Amy has some more great tips. Check out this link: http://bloggingwithamy.com/product-reviews/ Good luck! April
ReplyDeleteI am with you on the schedule and the pens! I love my flair pens! Can't manage without them.
ReplyDeleteJulie
Flair Pens--YES! :)
DeleteI totally have an obsession with pens. And pencils!
ReplyDeleteI especially love colored ones. I like the medium point ones more because I can write better with them (since my writing is big and bubbly)
:)

ReplyDeleteI have been browsing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as
you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.
