Woa! It has been a long time since I've written a post-ugh! I have had some pretty crazy stuff going on at home and this poor little blog is creeping along. Thank you for being patient with me. First off, my daughter had what we think was an infection/fever induced "seizure". Boy, was that the scariest moment in my life thus far. It wasn't a full blown seizure so it was a bit confusing...and I've never been to the emergency room (thank God) for myself or my children so far so it was pretty much the worst moment of my life to put it mildly. {and right after she got a double ear infection-ugh} But she is good! WAHOO! Thank God! She is back to being the silly mind-of-her-own 15 month-old little girl!! So needless to say, the blog has been on the back burner. I'm ok with that (blog on the back burner) but I sure do miss y'all!
Soooo....
on to good stuff..
First up, we had an amazing giveaway over on Schoolgirl Style and Classroom Celebrations! Welcome to all of you new here (and if you are new, I don't usually post about my kiddos..just an FYI..but really wanted to be honest with y'all :)!! I can't believe 3,000 likes on Facebook is just around the corner. Oh.my.word. yahoo! I have to come up with some great BIG FAT celebration!! (any ideas?)
Next up, have you seen SUPER TURKEY? Well, in the past, instead of the turkey as a disguise, I have had the turkey be a superhero and the class tries to come up with ways on how to escape Frank the Farmer. The kids always came up with the funniest solutions and illustrations. There are so many things you could do with this...and it is FUN. Oh*So*FUN! I thought I would first share a craft and writing printables with you...BUT WAIT. There is more to come....hmmm. just you wait.
And what do you think...here is a little picture to show you what I have been doing since my daughter has been feeling back to normal and well... maybe the last 3 weeks..ha!...the reveal is tomorrow. Right here. (I'm such a dork). Here are 3 clues: I've done something like this before, I love holidays, You will feel like Santa.
Hasta manana!

So glad to hear your daughter is better! How scary! I missed you!

It really was :( thanks Karyn! I miss y'all!!!
DeleteYour post sent me back 5 years to when I was sitting in emergency with my sick 16 month old when she suddenly started to fit and she went to another place for what seemed like a mother's eternity. I am glad to say she is an incredibly bright and caring almost 7 year old with no signs of that awful day. I pray your little one also has an uneventful medical journey from here on in.
