Do you use Instagram in your classroom? I have been using it for personal reasons and now I just created an account for this blog! I mean…only one picture is up but there are more to come. 🙂 You can find A Modern Teacher HERE.
Personally, it has been fun and super easy. With all the buzz about Instagrams…how about a fun Instagram inspired Mother’s Day Printable for FREE? (Mother’s Day is just around the corner!) First let’s tie the printable into a read aloud. After reading I’ll Love You Forever by Robert Munsch, the kids will love writing their own mini-books highlighting the love for their moms through the years. Kids could complete this in a couple of ways: they could make self-portraits of themselves when they were born, in the present, and in the future or they could illustrate a picture of themselves with their mothers (maybe doing a particular shared activity) at the different stages in their life.
There are 2 printables I’m sharing with you today:
I Loved You in an Instant :: Mother’s Day Collage
All you need is to print this sheet out that you can get HERE for FREE or by clicking on the picture. I would laminate it. This way a mom could put it in a frame or in a scrapbook.
I Loved You in an Instant :: Mother’s Day Mini-Book
Again, all you need is to print it out. Get it FREE HERE or by clicking the picture.
If you like this, please share and pin it.
So, do you use instagram? Does your class make a special treat for Mother’s Day? Or your own kids? Would love to know!
