If you read my post from last week, you know that I am taking the month of October to highlight some past posts while I spend some much needed time with my family and our new baby. Hang tight though! God willing, I will be back here in November with fresh, new content. I have this new blog design and I can’t wait to let out all these creative juices!
Without further ado, I start off with a post on Celebrating October and Halloween……
Eek! It’s October!!!! Can you believe that?
Well, one thing you gotta know about me is that I’m CRAZY about children’s books. I base a lot of traditions around children’s books. For example, every year for Halloween, I decorate around one of my favorite Halloween-themed children’s book. This year (because of baby coming), I am doing the same book I did last year: Scaredy Cat-Splat. I love Splat! In addition, I created a party pack based on Scaredy Cat,Splat!
Get ready for some pictures…..be sure to scroll down to the end where all the products are listed and where you can buy them.
It started with this:
Here you go…I hope you get some ideas!
Sometimes, we can’t have anything on Halloween because of nutritional requirements. Well, here are some alternatives. I would think you could have grapes, kiwi, and pretzel snack mix.
I would just make it fun for the kids…call them fun names.
Had to share these fun black and white pictures:
