If you hang out with me on Instagram, you know my life is pretty full. How I spend my time is chosen very carefully because I have a lot of balls to juggle. That is why I like to plan so much. You can probably relate to the juggling act, right?
In order to not go absolute bonkers and lose it, I have to think really carefully about what I write in my planner. How do I want to fill up my days?
Where will I spend my energy and focus?
Well, this year, things have been well, let’s just say….challenging…in a *ton* of different areas. I had to juggle a little too many balls. If you follow me on IG, you know that my mom is very sick. It has been a really tough year. My mom is a very private person so out of respect, I don’t share too much about her situation. But know that it has been tough. She is only 60 and well, it is just plain tough. And if you really know me, you know that family is #1 in my book….and on my planner. Making time for people and relationships is my number one priority. To make a long story short, there were too many family balls I had to juggle this past year. And of course, I had business balls to juggle too. One of the biggest challenges this year on the business side was the personal planners. From product development to production, things just didn’t go the way I wanted them to. So, I made the very difficult decision to put the personal planners on hold this summer. Unfortunately, they will not be going to full production. I will still offer the teacher lesson planner but I will not be selling the personal planners this year. I pray that I won’t have tomatoes thrown at me for putting them on the backburner this year. I always want to keep you in mind as I make these big decisions. And believe me, I don’t take these decisions lightly.
I want to sincerely thank each one of you for understanding my decision and all of the support you have given me in the past! Without you, I would not be here.
Since I did not take both to production, I really want to focus on providing a teacher lesson planner which gives you the space you need to plan out your days with purpose and ease. I hope you will find everything you are looking for!
With that, this year’s teacher lesson planner will be restocked on July 18, 2016. I have had a lot of requests for a preorder so, if you would like to preorder your lesson planner now, you can find that here and here. For a complete description of what they look like on the inside…see below. If you order now, you will have to wait until the week of July 18th to receive yours. If you order, July 18th, these will be ready to ship out right away.
The most important feature is the clear pocket cover that comes with a digital download of a ton of different designs. The cover provides for lots of flexibility and personalization. You can print what you are in the mood for, add your name, or even add schedules and pictures of your liking. I’m SO super excited about this feature.
This planner features a “big picture” idea page so you can see where you are going. What do the kids need to have mastered by the end of the month or unit? This is helpful to have it all in one place. Even if it is not extremely detailed, it allows you to have an idea of where you are headed.
It also includes monthly calendars so you can see the month at a glance. And of course, a weekly planner that is broken up by subjects.
The teacher lesson planner ends with must haves like student information, birthdays, monthly overviews broken down a bit more by subject or area, and note pages for meetings.
Oh! And it includes pages for grades/checklists.
I really tried to make this lesson planner very comprehensive for a modern teacher, yet not overwhelming and too bulky. A planner that keeps the end in mind, allows you to see the big picture, yet still functional with bright, colorful, sturdy divider tabs.
Again, I thank every single one of you for your support now and throughout the years. I love providing you with different tools and ideas to help make your job (and life) easier.
I hope you continue to hang with me here, on Instagram, on Facebook, through the newsletter and recently, through Snapchat (an APP on a mobile phone–username aprild.company) I share lots of behind the scenes and family stuff there. Lots of fun still to come!!!!!!!
Thank you friends!
